Before we head on home, we walked down the beach from the Riu Yucatan to visit the Iberostar Tucan & Iberostar Quetzal. We have sent many destination wedding brides and grooms to this property and now we can all see what they found so appealing.

As you can see from the property map, the Tucan and the Quetzal are neighbors that share the same property. Stay at either one and you use the same all-inclusive facilities, restaurants, pool, beach - everything.

Coming in from the beach - these outdoor showers to remove the salt and sand are a nice decorative touch.

The pool area is very large and spacious and quite attractive with lots of places for shade.
|

They have a great kids playground and pool area for the younger set.
|

The dining locations are very attractive - we especially liked the gold fish ponds that ran along the outside.
|

|
In fact there are many great water features at this resort, including this waterfall and swan pool.

As we started our tour from the beach side of the property it ends at the lobby.
|

Here's a pretty boy to bid us farewell and send us back up the beach to the Riu and on our way home. Hope you enjoyed the tour.
