The wedding was awesome. Our 50 guests had plenty to do to keep themselves entertained (Iberostar Paraiso Beach)- but we all ended up meeting up at some point (usually at night) at one of the bars and hanging out. Everyone kind of bonded before the wedding - so the wedding was even more fun. The disco was a blast!
The actual wedding on the beach was fine. The judge surprised us by telling us we could exchange our own personal vows ( which we hadn't written because they had said they had to have them 30 days in advance for her to approve them - since we never sent them we assumed all the words would be supplied . Oops) The reception was PERFECT at the brazilian restaurant people could do the vegetarian, beef or chicken choice easily.
Iberostar was a fun family place to hang out but the food was so- so and it was a LOT of walking. The Excellence, on the other hand - was phenomenal. We were spoiled like nobody's business. It was definitely worth the upgrade to the excellence club. Neil and I plan on taking vacations to their properties again in the near future. All in all, the wedding and honeymoon was a 100% success. It was stress free for me and although it didn't turn out EXACTLY how I envisioned it - it was beautiful and joyouse none the less. I would recommend you to anyone who is planning on a destination wedding!
